I have over 10 years of creative writing experience, and I've been working in the Singaporean TV and animation industry since 2022.

 

I've studied Literary Arts at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) from 2016 to 2020, Creative Writing for TV and New Media at Singapore Polytechnic from 2020 to 2023, and a BA Honours in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) from 2024 to 2027.

 

During my gap year, I've worked on several passion projects and freelance scriptwriting opportunities. I always love collaborating with actors, animators, artists and production teams in the local indie scene to bring concepts to life, the more whimsy the better!

 

In establishing Seven Seas of Sage (7SOS) Productions alongside my friends and fellow creatives, I hope to one day bring more mythological and fantastical stories to mainstream Singaporean media. Especially if those stories have symbolism and thematic imagery that explores human nature, found family, struggles we're facing in society, and the cultural/pre-colonial significance of Southeast Asia.

On chill days, you can find me doodling, pestering my cat, or reading fanfiction. I also really love cosplaying! I started back in 2017 and I've been getting back into it recently. Favs include Reigen Arataka from Mob Psycho 100 and Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus, but ONLY the minimum wage Spudsy's version.
