AUNTY LEE'S DEADLY DELIGHTS (2026)

A scripted series based on the books by Ovidia Yu, commissioned by MediaCorp. Rosie "Aunty" Lee, chef and owner of Aunty Lee's Delights, serves up killer dishes and solves killer crimes. With her motley crew, Aunty Lee dives into murder, mayhem and neighbourhood chaos with her sharp wit and even sharper instincts.

I got to write 6 episodes of this series, aired live on Channel 5 and MeWatch! Thank you so much to Weiyu Films for this opportunity!

My role: Scriptwriter for Episodes 25, 26, 29, 30, 53, 54

MY ZHONGWEN BETTER (2026)

A short film that my friend Theo and I wrote about a pair of estranged siblings who reunite due to the death of their mother. We were inspired by our how none of us could speak fluent mother tongue due to primary school tuition trauma, and just overall lack of practice. There's something indescribably comedic about shitty Chinese. But under the humour, the film is about being queer in Singapore, why some of us chose to leave, and how some of us don't have the choice to leave.

A CATALOGUE FOR:
LONGING, LOVE, LONELINESS, LOSS (2023)

A short film that I wrote during my internship, that spans the different stages of a relationship. This was shot largely on a whim with my two friends (shoutout to Alicia and Si Yuan) who did an excellent job portraying the ghostly characters and their domestic intimacy. I like to think of it as reminiscing blissful, easy memories, and coming to terms with the fact that I'll never live it again. In other words, this film is a goodbye.

THE ISLAND
BEHIND DEATH (2020)
The Untold Story of
Pulau Belakang Mati

A short film my friends and I made for our Heroes, Myths and Legends module in Year 1 of Polytechnic, during the peak of the pandemic (around July 2020). The story was based on the local legend behind Sentosa, or Pulau Belakang Mati - the Island Behind Death.

THE CLOSET IS THE NORM (2021)

This documentary follows Teo Yu Sheng as he shows us how he creates subtle LGBTQ+ merch under his local small business, Heckin Unicorn. It explores struggles such as being closeted in Singapore society and starting a small business from scratch.
